Painful lumps associated with the menstrual cycle are most likely benign fibrocystic cysts. However any lump should be fully examined with mammography, ultrasound, and/or MRI with biopsy, if appropriate.
Saw the Doctor who did my surgery. He says its not related to the surgery and is most likely a cyst. He says if its still there in two weeks, i will have a mamogram. It is extremly painful on touch..and is really pin-point pain. Could this be breat Cancer? Should i worry?
An breast lump, even if possibly related to another procedure like breast reduction surgery, needs to be evaluated. Either have your plastic surgeon or your primary case physician see and examine you. Your lump is most likely related to the previous surgery and not worrisome, but still needs an evaluation.
