Retin A does not thin the skin. It does make the skin more sensitive to sun exposure. When used consistently over a period of time (six to nine months) it does stimulate subdermal collagen formation and therefore reduce wrinkling.
I doubt that Retin A will have any effect on the skin below the brow. It is ideal for very fine lines like those around the eyes or in the cheeks.
I have used and am using Rentin A in the area just under the brow line to attempt to lift sagging skin there. Am I making things worse, or would I see some tightening there after consistent use of the cream. (1%)
