Fixing muscle atrophy caused by biking accident

by kydo76, Jan 02, 2007 12:00AM
I'm not sure if this fits into the cosmetic surgery topic, but I hope someone can still answer my question... I was mountain biking, fell and my chest landed onto the handle of the handlebar.  After the swelling went down, it seems that the chest muscle in that area atrophied or completely disintegrated with scar tissue continuing the muscle.
This happened over a year and a half ago... i was wondering if anyone knew if there was any way to fix the muscle and if so, what type of doctor I would need to visit.
