HAIR LOSS AFTER SURGERY

by isabel4269, Sep 22, 2009 03:16PM
HI IM A 30 YEAR OLD FEMALE, I HAD LIPOSUCTION DONE ON MY TORSO ABOUT 3 MONTHS AGO. AND ABOUT 3-4 WEEKS AGO I STARTED NOTICING SOME HAIR LOSS IT SEEMS TO BE INCREASING MORE AND MORE. I HAVE HEARD THAT SURGERY CAN CAUSE THAT, BUT WOULD LIKE YOUR OPINION ON THIS MATTER. I ASKED MY PLASTIC SURGEON ABOUT THIS, BUT HE SAID HE NEVER EXPERIENCE THAT BEFORE. SO I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF IT IS BECAUSE OF THE SURGERY, IS IT TEMPORARY AND FOR HOW LONS WILL THIS GO ON? ALSO WILL MY HAIR REGROW AFTER THIS IF NOT PERMANENT? CAN I DO ANYTHING OR TAKE ANYTHING TO HELP IT STOP? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Are you taking supplements or medications that cancause hair loss? There are lots of them. For instance, mega doses of vitamin A, inhaled steroids for asthma, dhea, and on and on.
