Can ultrasound detect intestinal cancer????

No, you need a colonoscopy for that.

In that case, cancer has already been diagnosed.  The objective of the ultrasound is to determine if it has spread and how far.

Biopsies are needed via colonoscopy to diagnose colon cancer.
