Advice please

So here's the problem that I have. A couple months ago I cheated on my husband and regret every minute of it but it happened abd I can't change that it did but I'm now pregnant but I'm confident that it's not the guy that I had the affair with. Here's why and with all the dates. My last period ended the day I cheated which was match 2nd 2016. So my period started 2/27/16. Now from what I can understand I was ovulating the following week starting match 8th but most fertile day was the 12th of march. My husband and I had more sex than usual this week. From talking with my obgyn he is saying conception most likely took place between March 9th andarch 13th. I went for a sonogram on may 5th and wad 9 weeks and 3 days, and my due date is December 3rd. I just have a gut feeling that it's my husband's and so does he but he still has doubt. I found an online conception calculator and everything points to my husband being the father. I wanted some input from other mothers that may have figured out there conception day and been pretty accurate. The only thing my husband is saying is that we have tried for 6 months without success and I cheated and now I'm pregnant but I have a hard time in believing in coincidences. Please help us

Thank you for your answer that's exactly what I was thinking and from all the hours of research that I've done that's what I have come up with I just wanted someone else to tell me that. Again thank you very much

Honestly, chances are it's your husbands, if you cheated within a few days of a period, you usually ovulate about 14 days after your period, give or take depending on cycle length, also, sperm CAN live up to 5 days in the right conditions...the right conditions are around ovulation time, optimal cervical mucus, etc...if it was near your period at all, you would have what is called "hostile" cervical mucus and it is not conducive for sperm. Sounds to me like the odds are it's your husbands - however of course DNA test is the only way to know for sure.

It has been a hard lesson learned but I pray that it is his. We have agreed to move forward if it is his but the next 7 months will be hard for both of us till its born. Who's do you think it could be

Sorry I just hope this is a lesson learned tho, not a good route to go down when there's a baby on the way ... to put your husband at ease me and my partner tried for over a year then when I least expected it I fell pregnant. I hope for both your sakes it's your husbands and you both can move on from this :-/

Thank you for your quick responce. Everything I have read and have been told is sperm can live 3-5 daus but is not very effective after 72 hours

Sperm can live in the body for at most 7 days so there is a small chance it could not be your husband's but I would say it's more likely it is your husband's.
