If you wish to be definitely certain, you could get a DNA test once the baby is born. But nothing about the story is adding up to the guy on the 15th.
Honestly Thank you so much for your help I just really needed someone else's educated view on this whole situation : )
OK, let's count. 6 weeks three days on the 7th of February, gives you a conception date of around four weeks three days back from the 7th of February, which is the 6th or 7th of January. This makes sense for your boyfriend because sperm can live in your system for several days after sex. On the other hand, it does not make sense for the guy on the 15th, because eggs (unlike sperm) only last a day or so before they cannot be fertilized. If you ovulated on the 6th or so, your egg would not have lasted until the 15th. I vote it's your boyfriend. You might also find out that it's a girl. (The longer-lasting but slower-swimming sperm are the ones carrying the female chromosome.) Don't worry, sweetheart, I just don't see the baby being conceived as late as the 15th, it doesn't make sense given your whole story.
so because of the timing it couldnt be the other guy right ? ive been so stressed about this whole situation thank you fpr your help by the way . &&; yes it was (6w3d) on the 7th .
It really doesn't sound like the other guy because of the timing, but let's follow this through -- on the 7th, based on the ultrasound, did they give a gestational age of the embryo (the number like "5 weeks 1 day") or did they give you an estimated due date? Usually they measure the embryo, and from that they can estimate the first day of your last period, which is when they begin the count for gestational age.
Yes they did a blood test on me and they gave me my hcg levels. They couldn't see anything on the ultrasound . I talked to the other guy and he said that for literally three seconds we didn't use one and then he put a condom on right away but anyways he said he didn't even *** at all because I told him to stop and then I had left . &&; on my follow up on the 7th they did do an ultrasound they gave me pictures . I could see the baby by that time . (Looked like a peanut)
When you went for the checkup on the 22nd, how did they come to the conclusion that you were 4 weeks pregnant? By blood test? 4 weeks would be too early to see anything on an ultrasound.
You believe you used protection with the other guy? What does that mean, you think he pulled out? Or you think he used a condom (but that seems odd because wouldn't you know?) If the estimate that you were 4 weeks pregnant on the 22nd is accurate, the other guy would not be the father since you are saying there was only 7 days between the sex with the other guy and your trip to the doctor. Even using the medical way of counting (from the first day of presumed last menstrual period), you would be "two weeks" along at that time, not four, and it can take more than 7 days for an embryo even to implant, so how would they know?
Did you have an ultrasound on the 7th of February?
