Help

So i am really confused with my due date and stuff. i know for a fact i had my period on June 1st 2014. and that would have been my LMP. But they gave me a dating ultrasound around 10 weeks anyway because my cycles are always different and that told them my LMP should have been June 7th. But it was not. They gave me a due date of March 14th 2015. I just feel like this is wrong. but at my 18 week ultrasound they said everything was measuring on track.. I am just wondering if anyone else has had this happen. I just feel like they are wrong..

then OB GYN is right. You ovulated 3 weeks after your period instead of the hypothetical 2 weeks .(which makes it look like your LMP is june 7th )l.

I had sex on the 20th and then on the 22nd. I should have probably posted this in a different forum. Oops.

Did you sleep with anyone around June 21?  What they were saying when they give you the estimate based on your ultrasound in your tenth week is that no matter when your last period was, whether it was last year or last month or last week, they think you ovulated around June 21.  The margin for error in the tenth week is not that great, maybe +/- 3 or so days.  Did you have any sex in that time, from say June 18 through 24 or 25?

is this a paternity question?

Dating pregnancies by LMP assumes the woman has a regular cycle of 28 days and ovulates on day 14.  If your cycles are irregular an ultrasound is probably more accurate. That said ultrasounds do have room for error getting greater as the weeks go by . second trimester could be up to 2 weeks discrepancy and third trimester could be up to 3 weeks.
