Pregnant

My LMP was on 12/13/2012.  Test on 1/8/2013 and it came back negative. Then tested again on 1/16/2013 and got a positive. My question is when did i conceive? Really bad butt pain, sore breast for almost two weeks and all day sicknesses.

Just by the numbers and averages, you would have ovulated and conceived about two weeks after the first day of your last period.  That would be around the 27th or 28th.  However, some women ovulate earlier than 14 days after the first day of their lmp, some as early as day 8, which would be more like the 21st or 22nd.  If you have more than one choice of dad in the time period between the 20th and the 31st, you are going to need more information.  Can you list the dates of unprotected sex after the 13th to about the 7th of January?

And I take it that the unprotected sex was with one person and the sex on the 31st was with another, who you are trying to rule out [or in] as a possibility?  Was the protection just a condom (i.e., about 80% effectiveness rate), or condoms and foam (about 97% effectiveness rate)?  And did he have an orgasm or pull out?  Just by the dates alone, there is not enough difference between December 29 and December 31 to be definitive.  When you get your ultrasound, that they will tell you a gestational age (i.e., "you are 7 weeks 2 days pregnant") using a count that starts on the first day of your last period (or on the presumed first day of your last period, if it doesn't match your actual first day of your last period).  Only if you ask specifically "When might I have conceived?" will they give you an estimated conception date.  But they will certainly give you an estimated due date, and you can count back from that.  Let me know what they say.

According to my ultrasound my due date is September 19th, it shows 8weeks 2days. When was my conception date?

Here's what the conception calculator says:

First day of last menstrual period:  December 13, 2012
Probable date of ovulation:  December 27, 2012
Possible dates of conception:  December 23 to December 31, 2012
Due date:  September 19, 2013 (40 weeks)

I don't know for sure, but if they say "8 weeks 1 day, range 7 weeks 4 days to 8 weeks 6 days," it looks like they're saying you were "8 weeks 1 day, give or take five days" on the day of the sonogram.
