please help when did I conceive?

My due date is the 04.04.14 && I had a ultrasound on the 23rd of August I was 7 weeks 1 day, just would like to know when I roughly had sex and when the sperm met the egg (roughly conceived) please? please help x

hey hun-  I hope this helps!!! I am on my 4th preganancy and every single one once i hit that far in my pregnancy I measeured either ahead or a little behind.  The babies size can really change around these times!!! So what your doctor will most likely do is go by yourd due date and make sure the baby is at a healthy weight and lung develomplent and then you will either go into labor naturally or doctoe will iduce you. At this face it's definetly mainly measured on your babies due dat.  They also don't want the baby to be to big or have something such as meconium...so they will reallt wactch the babies weight and stress and health and determing when the baby should come should come so just don't stress yourself it will most likely be dermined off of weight and size of yout child  and whether they sense or find any other reason baby needs to come early.  Evetything will be just fine theyr are amazing profesiionals!!!

Hiya Annie I spoke to my health visitor today and she told me that I concieved from about the 24th of June until about the 6th of july as she used one of those wheel things and said they are very accurate alot more accurate than the online calculators im so relived and looking at these dates it definitely adds up as I was sexually active with guy 1 from the early early June until the 11th of July so she said it adds up perfect & when I saw my midwife for the first time she mentioned the end of June :) and the guy I "slept" with was wearing a condom and didn't stay hard to actually "have sex with me" just tried putting it in and he couldn't due to the election gone when putting the condom on :)

I suggest you consider both guys to be in the possible range for dad, and have a DNA test once the baby comes.  You really can't rule either one out, the evidence is pretty strong for conception between the 8th and the 16th, but the 16th is pretty close to the 20th and the consequences of getting this wrong are too serious to be guessing.

Yeahhhh haha as I realised it was that week due to going back to work on the 21st of july it was the 20th it happend

Did you get more information?  In your original post on the subject back in February, you said "That was about between the 14-20/21st I think im not totally sure" about sex with the second guy.

IF that is my conception date then I slept with my ex between the 6th of July up until the 11th about and then the other incident happened the 20th we broke up the 11th but everytime we slept together her prior to that he ejaculated inside me but the other guy was wearing a condom (20th)

I'd assume April 4 is the most reliable due date.  They might have been more disinterested about getting you a due date at your first ultrasound if they thought you were going to terminate.  Anyway, April 4 puts both guys into the picture, and you're going to need a DNA test to determine paternity.

The conception calculator I use gives the following for an April 4 due date:

     Probable date of ovulation:  July 12
     Possible dates of conception:  July 8 to 16
     Due date:  April 4 (40 weeks)

So as you can see, given the range of July 8 to 16, it could be either guy.  Are both of them willing to give samples for a DNA test?  I would use a lab approved by the courts for determining paternity, and not waste my time on a home test.

The 10th of April has NEVER EVER been mentioned or said, I have never heard the doctor/midwife ever give me this due date if this helps it's only ever been the 4.4.14

I was just told that from the scan as I had irregular periods anyway, well they all say your due date 4th of April, I didn't get a due date from my first scan as I was going to terminate the pregnancy but when I saw my midwife she then gave me this date.

the hospital then scanned me at 12.5 weeks and said my due date would be the 4.4.14, & yeah everyone of my scans matched up to April the 4th up until the 32 week scan it had at the bottom of the screen where it says how far along you are 34 weeks and 3 days but they said it doesn't matter my due date stays the same.

&& no I was 12 weeks 5 days when I had my second scan and they gave me the due date 4.4.14

all my others match up its just the first that doesn't seem to.

OK, let's see if I understand your story.  First, you said you had a scan on August 23, when you were told you were 7 weeks 1 day.  Were you told that from the scan, or was that simply computed from the first day of your last period using a calendar or little wheel?

Then you said "and the hospital and doctors all swear by this due date,"  do you mean April 4?  And did you really question them so hard that they had to swear?  (Because if so, I would trust April 4.)  

Then you said you have had all your other scans and your due date "matched up perfect with" your due date; I assume you mean the April 4 due date.  In other words, you are saying the same due date, April 4, was told to you consistently in all your scans except the first?

Then you said you had a scan on September 25 and they said you were 12 weeks 5 days, and that your due date is "the exact same due date," again, I assume we're talking April 4?

If I am understanding you correctly, what you are wondering is, why did your first ultrasound (seemingly) indicate that you were possibly 7 weeks 1 day, if all other ultrasounds point to a start date for your pregnancy that was 6 days earlier.

(Just for the analysis, when was the first day of your last period?  July 4 or June 28 by any chance?  Are your periods always like clockwork every 28 days?)

Anyway... if a woman gets an early estimate of how far along she is, and then all the other estimates differ, and all the others were done with ultrasounds and the first one was just computed from the first day of her last period, it is possible for the first one to be wrong and all the others to be right.  (Especially this is true if the woman's period are *not* like clockwork every 28 days.)  

How far along were you when you had your second ultrasound?  Was it, by any chance, before your 12th week?

Ohhh I get it, I mean i just don't get why my midwife gave me this due date she is a bit you know lapsy daisy and she said the 4.4.14 as it was easy to remember, I had my 12 weeks scan on the 25th of September I was 12 weeks 5 days and they gave me the exact same due date as she did? If I was 12 weeks 5 days it adds up to my due date right? They told me I was measuring 12 weeks 5 days? I'm so confused lmao

Later scans don't mean anything in terms of dating the pregnancy.  The scan that counts (for that purpose) is the one you have in your sixth or seventh week.

I mean i have had all my other scans and my due date matched up perfect with my due date, and I had my scan when I was 32 weeks pregnant I was measuring 34 weeks and a couple of days so could this means anything?

If you were at 7 weeks 1 day on August 23, you would have conceived around July 18 and your due date would be April 10.  

Possibly someone just miscounted by a week when counting back manually on a calendar.  I would definitely ask, since the difference between April 4 and April 10 is significant.  An April 4 due date keeps the first guy on the list of candidates while an April 10 due date pretty much suggests it is not him.

When were you given the due date of April 4?  Because it does not line up with being 7 weeks 1 day on August 23rd.  Would you double-check and see what estimated due date you were given on the day you had the 7w1d ultrasound?
