Can I be the father?
This is a question about my girlfriend if she has had sex with another guy one month prior, to me and took two pregnancy tests both negative when she was with me . Than we had sex on 19th and tests positive 11 days later. The doc told her 4 weeks 2 days pregnant, is it possible can be my child? She never experienced anything till 6 days after we had sex, ie nausea and morning sickness, She was fine the whole month up til then.

It sounds like your baby. Have her get an ultrasound, and ask the doctor how many weeks she is by the "gestational age" measurement. The doctor will compute the g.a. and tell you a week number that begins on the (assumed) first day of her last period. That would mean, she would have conceived two weeks later. In other words, if the doctor says she is 7 weeks "along," that means 5 weeks since the baby was conceived. When the doc said she was 4 weeks 2 days "pregnant," that would have meant (by the way doctors count) 2 weeks 2 days since presumed conception. Anyway, she should get an ultrasound at about her 6th or 7th week (counting using the GA method). Sounds like from what you wrote above with the 4 weeks 2 days, that would be in one or two more weeks. Have her explain her situation to the doc, and ask the doc for insight regarding when she would have conceived.

Thanks for the comments we are going on july 1st, so thats about 5 weeks since she found out from the doc, unless she goes to the emergency room to find out sooner. I have also found out about twins, lining up in both family trees her side. This may be why she is getting bigger fast, i am still happy to be their for them regardless of the outcome thanks again anniebrooke i will post the the situation as soon as i find out first hand. My first child (ren) and i am so excited. thanks a million for the good remarks it helps me out, i haven't thought about the past lately anymore just the future. With all the comments i am sure it is my child or children, and its going to best thing that has ever happen in my lifetime.
i didn't go that far to ask but but i know for sure the month of may she has only been with me. and like i posted the urine tests were both negative 20th and 24th only when she went to the doctors on the 30th for a check up for her iron blood test showed she was pregnant, and she is still wondering how they know how far along she is if she didn't even know. On the 24th of may she was full blown, but not really that sick. she has just started to grow this week getting rounder its been three weeks, is this usual. or is she farther along.

And do you know when she last had sex with anyone other than you? You said at the top that it was "one month prior" to you, do you mean the last time she had sex with a different partner was April 19? If so, it is definitely your baby.
we had sex on the 19th of may unknown other dates, irregular periods. she had a test on may 20th negative, and again on the 24th negative. only when she felt pregnant 6 days after we had sex then she went to the doctor on the 30th and it was positive. I am still stoked regardless. thanks for the input i will keep in touch

Hi, crazy123. What day was it when the doctor told her she was 4 weeks 2 days pregnant, and how did the doctor determine that; did she have an ultrasound? Or was it just by her blood test being positive and her telling the doctor the first day of her last period?

No negativity honest truth lol think why would she have unprotected sex with a guy right before you if she only loves you? And I never said she'd do it again... I simply said slow down use your brain and think it through this is for life. Dna test is important not only for you but for the well being of the child when it gets older. Just saying lol
No she would never do that to me i am here to stay and further the situation she has been depressed and only now since i have been back in her life she has been getting better, she has met the wrong people and i didnt want to put this out in the open view because of all the negative comments that could arrive but u are wrong. I think you need to slow things down and really think bout what your doing. It most likely is the first guys and you need to think about if she's having unprotected sex with these guys then your just another one to her? Slow down get a dna test and listen to facts and the doc not only what she tells.you.
From what I read it is possible to get a positive blood test 10 days after ovulation. But honestly if I was in your shoes I would still get a dna test to make sure. If you don't care if your the fsther or not then I wouldn't worry about a dna test.

this is a weird thing to talk about but the more people can help you through it helps ease minds, and further more if their is twins would;it make a women get the blues faster>?

Aww, that's beautiful... Congrats!!!! You are right most women know their bodies well enough by their 2nd pregnancy to know they are pregnant. I wish you both all the best in your relationship, with your growing baby
Yes we talk all the time and to answer the support i have already asked to marry me ((( SHE SAID YES ))) this happened before any of this played out. She didnt suspect she was pregnant and really never showed the month of may when we got together, no clear signs until like i said six days after. I think she would of known she was pregnant cause she has already 2 kids, boy and girl.
Because if she is 4 weeks 2 days thats day 30 then count back 11 days to day 18 and she could of got pregnant from thats day or up to 5 days before that
Its very Possibly to be yours I found out I was pregnant day 31 of my cycle and my positive ovulation was day 19 which for would be day 18 of her cycle not to mention sperm can live up to 5 days so definitely your baby
