Please help..I'm human and we all make mistakes....i had a maritial affair..i had sex with this man may 22& 23 he confessed he had a vasectomy done 5 yrs ago but never went back a sperm count after the surgery....I confessed the affair to my husband which i had sex 25 & 26 I wanted to put this in the past and try to work out things with my husband that's why I confessed the affair..I knew to expect the worst after confessing everything but I'm woman enough to admit what i did....I have nothing to do with the man that once I had the affair everything eneded...the only problem is that I'm 12 wks pregnant according to a vaginal ultrasound...my husband wants to get a paternity test done and for me to get an abortion if the baby is not his.....I know the mistake that I did but I don't think I would be able to perform an abortion.....I don't know what to do....but I need help to determine who the father is and what are the chances of me been pregnant by a man that had a vasectomy..help me

Here is what the conception calculator gives for a due date of February 28.

     Probable date of ovulation:  June 7
     Possible dates of conception:  June 3 to 11

I realize that the sex with the other man on the 25-26 will seem a little close to the date of June 3, especially since the first day of your last period is not lining up with the first day of your last period as assumed by the ultrasound computer.  But you do need to take into account that the ultrasound saw your actual baby and measured it, and women can ovulate at almost any time in their cycle, even somewhat later.

My period was may 12-17...which makes my due date feb 16 but ultrasound it gave me a due date of feb 28.....after I confessed the affair I gave my husband my word that I would not look for that man no more.. the only test that I know of is the snp array which is like 1600 but I ask my self if its worth it or if I should wait till the baby is born....I just stress everyday and I feel my husband needs know if his the dad...

Also, did you have a period around the time you had sex with the guy?

You could ask the man who had the vasectomy if he would go to the doctor and get a sperm count done, and to send you a copy of the doctor's report of the test results.  If he is not fertile, then you do not have any risk of having to abort.  There are also prenatal blood tests that can be done, but they are very costly.  You are 12 weeks pregnant when, today?  12 weeks 0 days, or some other amount?  When did you have the first ultrasound that dated the pregnancy, and did they give you an estimated due date at that time?
