Ladies I need your HELP!
I'm really embarrassed to be asking this question and I ask everyone to not be judgmental please. My ex boyfriend of 3 1/2 years broke up for three months and I'm now pregnant. My LMP was July 8th and lasted 5-7 days. My ex and I have sex on I believe to be the 16th or 17th and ejaculated inside of me. On the 21st of July I had a one night stand with a friend of mine. We did not use protection and he pulled out. According to my period tracker I ovulated sometime around the 20th to the 22nd if I did in fact ovulate on time which I normally do. My ex and I are back together and he thinks the baby is his. He is completely unaware that I slept with anyone else. At first I didn't have any doubts that my ex was Father because I thought my period may have started a little sooner, but after having two ultrasounds I'm confident it started July 8th. Who do you think the father is? I'm going crazy abortion is not an option for me and it will ruin everything if I talk to my boyfriend about the possibilities.

Thank you, at this point I'm pretty sure the one night stand is the Father of my child. Based on my calculations my ex's sperm would have to live inside me for 5-6 days where as with the one night stand we hooked up the day before or off ovulation. I'm so upset I don't know what to do. :(

Try Ravgen and the DDC. They are the two labs with the best reputations for prenatal DNA testing to determine paternity. You don't want to spend the big bucks and go to a place that has a name for losing results or giving the wrong answer.

Prenatal paternity testing can be done by a blood draw (from the arm) of the mother now, and I think a swab from the possible father. But some of the labs that advertise this service are more dodgy than others, so you do need to do your research. And the cost is at least $1600 for a good lab.

I just googled it over a thousand dollars. I know there's other testing that can be done, but it's more so for genetic abnormalities. My friend said he would be willing to do the DNA testing.
The only way to teat paternity during pregnancy is through amniocentesis. It's expensive (because in this case its not medically warranted) and it poses a slight risk of miscarriage. Also in order to test the paternity you need one of the potential father's to be tested to compare DNA
I think there is a way you can get a paternity test while pregnant but from what I hear the price is a lot more than the test after the baby is born. Best of luck to you.
I was honest with my friend about the situation since I found out I was pregnant a month ago and he was extremely supportive. I've known him for 11 years and we've always been close with another. I'm just afraid if I say something to my boyfriend I will be alone thought out this pregnancy only to find out my bf could be the father. I know he will be devastated and extremely angry :(
My obgyn said I'm due April 14th, but that the 5-7 window falls in their error window when dating can be off. This is so nerve racking! Can you have a paternity test done while pregnant?

You may need to talk to him about the possibilities because if you did ovulate between the 20th to 22nd the one night stand would've been your optimal time to conceive. However sperm can live inside you for up to 5 days so it is possible that your bf is the father but the dates are too close to tell for sure without DNA testing
Its better to be open and honest with both guys. Even though the out come may not be what you want at least you were up front and did not hide it. It will all work out for the best in the end. It will hurt worse if either of them get attached only to find out the baby isn't theirs. You have to think about all parties involved. I wish you the best!
When are you due? There are conception calculators out there that tell you what days you would have had sex to be pregnant. Try babymed conception calculator. I hope it helpd congrats on your baby and good luck. Your best bet is to get a paternity tedt. Hopefully the conception calculator helps.
