Hi mfrancisco99,
for what it is worth, if you can stay away from the pot long enough, I reckon your brain would likely bounce back to its original state. Honestly, when I was 19, I smoked it, and I went through hell both on it, and for weeks afterwards. I had paranoia for ages afterwards, many weeks in fact, but from memory about 30 days away from it and I felt and thought normally again. At that point, I had been so burned by the experience, that I swore never to smoke it again. Boy, if only what I swore to could I keep to! I fell back into smoking it again, and ended up with drug induced psychosis. Problem was, it was a rebound psychosis and mania, that occured due to cessation of pot usage (I had stopped using it for 4 months), and the psychiatric team and I figured it wasn't related to pot usage. I lost 2 decades to a misdiagnosis of schizophrenia/schizoaffective disorder, and today I am still in the process of Olanzapine (antipsychotic drug) withdrawal. If this scares you, good, though I want you to know the truth rather than try and scare you. I encourage you that from my experience, your brain can and likely will bounce back. And if you can steer clear of pot, do it! Fish oil tablets may help accelerate your brain's recovery as well. You can get them from the supermarket. I hope you get well.
Justin
You should be working with a psychiatrit if you are worried about that, so ask for a consultation.
Do u think thats the problem, and will SSRI make me suicidal... I never had depression problems, but I heard that it can make people suicidal and stuff...
Ask your doctor about prescribing an ssri for you to restore your serotonin level.
