Have you let your doctor know of these feelings? Many times your body has to adjust to medications and this can take a few weeks. The symptoms you describe, staying to yourself and not wanting to do anything, can also mean you are getting more depressed. I am wondering why you are on 2 antidepressants. I would recommend looking up your medicines in a book or on the web to find out the usual dose and side-effects. Being informed is the best way to deal with your illness. Whatever you do, don't discontinue your medication on your own. Depression can have deadly side effects of it's own. Best wishes.
Dear Angela
From the information that was provided, it seems that your depression is getting worse. Effexor ( Venlafaxine) is an antidepressant that is usually given at a dose of 75 to 225mg/day but sometimes it is given at a higher dose for controlling depressive symptoms. It is possible to have side effects such as drowsiness, dizziness, difficulty in concentrating etc when effexor is taken with another antidepressant such as wellbutrin. Before your depression gets anymore worse, I would recommend that you talk to your psychiatrist about your concerns. GoodLuck to you.
Sincerely
