Oh, yeh Im only 36 and am in good shape also... and take care of myself. I also cut out all Caffeine except for a cup of coffee once in a great while and that helped also...
Good advice from all above , I went through the same thing ER,EKG and blood tests and I just had to face that the stress
of life was causing the panic attacks and I take Ativan for them.... I put a .5mg tab under my tongue when they start
and it makes me feel better in less than half an hour... of course drink water after you put it under your tongue for about 5mins. And it does feel like a Heart attack or symptoms of one
and the hardest part you'll need to deal with is making your mind believe your not.

Those symptoms are a sign of panic attacks. If I was you I would take your docs advice and use the Ativan or better yet, longer lasting Klonopin [Clonazapam] which is supoosed to be less addictive than the shorter acting Ativan [Lorazapam].
The Klonopin has stopped all those symptoms in me.
