vomitting after each meal

On Jan 20, 2009 a virus went thru my house that lasted about 12 hrs and everyone had uncontrollable vomitting.  Ever since then i will have a few days where i am ok then go days where i vomit after each meal.  I feel fine beofre i eat i will be hungrey eat and less then 10 minutes after sometimes in the middle of eating i am darting to the restrom and vomitting. and i get a sharp pain right below my belly button about 2 inches to the left.  I had liver gallbladder and all kinds of blood work done its normal and a ultra sound was normal.  I have a gi apt soon but what could it be.  I know im not pregnate.  Both my children are from ivf and i had my tubes ties and im on bc pills.  It is now taking a toll and happeing more often.  Im tired and drained.. any advise please

We all had that virus as well it was the worst.
My youngest son would be fine one day and then vomit the next. I called the Dr. and they said just to start with getting liquids back in his body. Every 15 min. give him something to drink like gatorade. No dairy products because that will upset the stomach. He finally got over it after a week. I hope that all it is, is the virus, and that you are well soon.

sorry, this does not sound like a mental health symptom, so your gi doctor is the right place for you to be.
