Is the doc.giving me the right drugs ?!

I have Psoriasis, for more than 10 years and I'm very depressed in my life.
My doc.prescribed me Diazepam and Risperidone.I'm in very good situation now but I'm always slepy and very tired (fatigue).
My head is always bysy with imangible situation and thinks how to deal with psoriasis ?!
Diazepam - 1+1+2 = 4 * 2 mg = 8 mg (benzodiazapine group) and Risperidone - from 1/2 per day,at night.
Do you think it's OK.
I'm not very sure !!!?????

Risperidone is simply an anti-psychotic drug. Some doctors will use them to treat Major Depression.

IMO I don't agree with utilizing anti-psychotic drugs to treat depression. Reason is because there are better drugs to use that have less side effects.

Are you sure your diagnosis is simply Major Depression?

The diazepam is just an anti-anxiety benzo and will not cause any adverse reaction to the Risperidone.

Be careful with any benzo. They are very safe, but can be addictive. (just ask a benzo addict like me)
