I have been on antidepressants for about 10 years. I am on Cymbalta now, as well. I just upped my dosage to 90 mg, and it is helping some, but I still get very depressed. A friend recommended Ritalin and I will be getting some soon. My psychiatrist will not prescribe it. I will let you know how it works for me. How is Ritalin working for you?

They used to use ritalin for depression back in the day but now it's mostly for ADD. Stimulants release lots of dopamine which is the chemical that gives you pleasure and energy.
