What is the cause?? How to get off this MerryGoRound

I need some info too.  I have taken Norco since 2004 when I got it for a surgery.  Then the sport began.  I did break my back thus the pain center and on going Norco.  

My delima is:  I have such sadness and severe depression that I can't function at all.  I had some Wellburtin so started taking that about 8 weeks ago. Started with 1-150mg in the morn. Then up to 1-150m in the morning and 1-150mg about 3 pm.  

At this time I have also found this forum to get off the Norco (10/325).  I had decreased from 4 a day down to 3 a day.

I have NEVER - EVER experienced such sadness.  I am a train wreck.  I don' know if my addiction is causing this depression. Or is it the Wellbutrin.  The sadness has been worse since I have been on it.  

I also have some Celexa here but don't want to start it as I can't take many of these anti depressants. They make me sick, dizzy, awful.  And have heard it is hard to get off of.  I had a heck of a time getting off of Lexapro.  Glad I am clear of that.  

I lost my job a year ago.  I have no insurance.  I have no money for trial meds and Dr. appts.  Here I have a whole summer to get my S*** together and I can't even brush my teeth. My house is filthy and that is not me.  Suicide is a constant daily thought but at least I am smart enough to get on here.  I have NO support.  I have NO ONE.

So..............is it the Norco?  Is it the Wellburtin?  Or is it BOTH??  Where do I start first?  I need to get my brain working before I go into W/D.

Wonder if I will have withdrawls from going off this Wellbutrin?  It is hard to believe that this med can cause depression.  I finally find an antid. without sickening side effects and I get suicidal taking it.  Of coarse I started taking it so that I could wein off of Norco and have my head together.  

Now what to take for depression.  

Sick of being sick.  Sick of being Sad.  Just sick of it all.

Thank you. I know how good this is.  I have been reading it for over 2 weeks now, taking the Wellbutrin and just going down hill.  So now I need to find out which substance is the culprit even with the addiction.  Something made it all worse.

That is ok it doesn't hurt to gather as much knowledge as you can.  The guys and gals on the substance abuse forum are very wise as well.

It could also be that you have not tried the right meds yet.  I am strong against pain killers as you could see if you saw my profile.  I would also advise joining the Addiction: Substance Abuse Forum on this website.  Even if you don't think you are addicted if you post this question on there you will get a lot of great information and support.  You will also meet people with similar stories to yours.  Please check it out.
