HAS ANY ONE EXPERIENCED THESE SYMPTOMS, HELP>>>

I NEED HELP, I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH ESOPHAGEAL SPASMS.  MANY DOCTORS HAVE SEEN ME AND THEY SAID I HAD ACID REFLUX DISEASE.  UNTIL LAST FRIDAY AFTER MY ENDOSCOPY, MY GASTRO FOUND OUT THAT I HAD ESOPHAGEAL DISMOTILITY.  TO MAKE SURE, HE IS GOING TO SCHEDULE ME FOR A MANNOMETRY.  A LIKE TO KNOW WHAT IT FEELS TO HAVE A MANNOMETRY, AND IF SOMEBODY IS OR WAS EXPERIENCING THIS SYMPTOMS SUCH AS TROUBLE SWALLOWING AND CHEST PAIN.

I have had esophageal spasms for quite some time.  I have had two endoscopies, a manometry and a pH probe.  After all of these tests I had a Lap Nissen Fundoplication - just this past February.

I was really hoping that the spasms would disappear after my surgery but they didn't.  I find that the best treatment (for me) is to relax by regulating my breathing and to gulp cool water.  The gulping seems to break up the spasms.

Hope it helps.
