Heartburn With Hard bloated stomache

My husbad has acid refulx Lately he has had severe heartburn that will not go away and his stomache has been bloated and hard. what could be the cause of this? Any way to get rid of it?

i have acid reflux.  When i have severe stomach pain my stomach right below my sturnum gets hard and bloated.  The whole day and the next day it feels hard and bloated...a bit constipated like.  I have had this for years and they asscoiate the pain with the acid reflux.  I am not sure if they are correct but i don't really know what to do for it.  I have been on all type sof scid reflux mediciene.  I think the hard bloated problem isn't anything to be real worried about,  it may be how the body reacts to the acid!  Hope this helps.

If your husband is having chest pain.  With or without reflux, he should be seen by his doctor right a way.  If he is eating all kinds of junk foods, spicey and high fat foods this could cause those kind of pains.  Also, if he is under stress, that does not help.  Does he drink or smoke?  If I were you, I would call his doctor and tell him/her about these symptoms and see what his doctor advises but I would not sit around thinking about it.  This could be related to a heart condition.  Many men think they have heartburn when in fact they are having heart problems.  I hope this information will be of use to you.
