Left sided abdominal and groin pain.

I could really use some input from anybody who has similar problem.  I have been having this problem for at least 2yrs.
I am 36yrs old, generally healthy execpt for this.  I have been checked by the Gynecologist, who says I have small cysts on ovarys, but they shouldnt be causing this,  I have had a Ct scan normal.  I have gone to urologist because sometimes I have pain in kidney while urinating too.  He gave me a scope test and a n IVP test which were normal.  He did tell me that my uterous was tipped onto my bowel, but he doesnt know if this would cause this problem.  I also feel a fullness right under my rib cage on left.  Ive always heard its better to have pain on left, because it is easier to diganose, but not in my case.  Please help!

Sorry it took me so long to get back. I just had rectal surgery due to chidbirth complications. There can be damage done to the bladder as well as the rectum during childbirth. My damage was rectal, but I think the forceps combined with the epesiotomy caused the damage. Maybe you could drive to another town to see urology surgeon.

Did you ever consider your gall bladder.  I have a disfunctional gall bladder with left side pain under the ribs.  They thought it was kidney at first, but tested gall bladder and found it wasn't functioning right. It's referred pain on the left which is harder to diagnose because there is nothing over there beside your spleen, kidney and colon.  Everythings to the right and could cause this left pain.  I'm still going through a testing process to make sure this is it.  Colonoscopy was O.K. beside one pollyp which they removed.  I don't want to have my gall bladder removed and still have pain and discomfort.  Good luck.

yes I have one child 12, and they claim my uterus was so tipped, that they had to pull him out with forceps.  I have been tested for kidney infection and it always comes back clean.  I am so disgusted with the whole thing.  Today again my kidney is burning, my groin is killing me and I dont know where to turn next.  The worst part of it is the fact we only have 2 different urologists in our area, and the other one doesnt like to take patients that are already cared for by the other urologist.  How do you like that! They better hope what ever this is doesnt kill me, Ive already told my husband to sue the bastards in that event.  LOL

It's possible that you need to see a colo-rectal surgeon. If you have had children there are a lot of complications that can happen. Most people don't think about how close together everything is down there. Have they tested your kidneys for infection? If you don't have an infection try drinking a gallon of water per day. If that doesn't help you could have something else wrong with your kidneys. Don't give up, and don't let the ignorance of some doctors discourage you.
