What is the normal numberl for liver enzyems?

I'm sorry for posting another question, but I forgot to ask if anyone knows what the normal limits should be on your liver enzymes?

I'm an overweight 53 yr old female, learned this week my enzymes were high, I have an appt. w/primary care doc next Tues., the nurse practioner at the nutrition center seemed very concerned for me and I have been having a dull pain under my right rib on down and around my side and lower back. My labs were as follows:
AST (SGOT)  68
BILIRUBIN,DIRECT  0.5
ALT   134
From reading some of the posted results my ALT is significantly higher, as a Type 2 Diabetic, I'm a bit concerned.
My pain worsens when I lie down, it is just there not unbearable.
This my first online communication other than email, I like knowing there is a place like this to share med info.

just an FYI, if your bloodwork is done at one of the bigger labs, the normal ranges printed on your report are specifically for someone of your age, sex and sometimes even weight.  the ranges posted here can give you a ballpark idea of what kind of results are expected.  but, the interpretation of your results needs to be done by a doc that knows what is going on with you.  not every test result that falls outside the "normal range" is necessarily a problem and not every test result that falls inside the "normal range" is necessarily ok.  also, some tests results only need to be slightly out of range for them to be problematic while others can be 3-4x's the upper or lower range before it needs to be addressed.

You will "Not" find the answer you are looking for online. It's best to call the lab in which you had your blood drawn. "Every" lad has a very different range in which is normal and what is not. So unless you have a copy of the "Normal ranges" from the lab that drew the blood, you will not have a definitive and accurate answer. ALL labs are completely different. Your doctor should have gone over the results with you, if this is a blood test in which you had. It's best to ask the doctor who ordered the test.

about liver enzymes....I have a copy of my last lab report here.  Here are the names of the liver enzymes and the "normal range" .  Keep in mind some "normal" values vary a little among different labs.
AST (SGOT)  13-39
ALT (SGPT)  10-35
alkaline phosphatase  37-107
total bilirubin  0.2-1.2
direct bilirubin  0.0-0.2
indirect bilirubin  0.0-0.8
