Gastric rupture or ???

In Sep. 2011 severe abdominal pain (pins and needles, 8 pain level). Told back pain. Prescribed NSAID (Mobic) which did nothing. Elevated white count so given sulfa which ended pain after 10 days. Also bp spikes to 180/110 or worse during that time, my normal bp at the time was 135/90. Also ooze from abdomen. On NSAID swelled up so put on Lasix. Swelling down but no bowel movement for 10 days Jan. 2012. Seeing chiropractor to see if he had any ideas.  ooze started again Feb. '12. Mentioned ooze to chiro May 2012 and he said it was acid and gave me betaine HCl to increase acid. Took and burning worse. Told doctor and put on Nexium - strange reaction. Once burning had stopped noticed liquid at bottom of abdominal cavity -  told GERD or H. Pylori by doctors which were refuted by GI at Mayo. Shortly after that felt weak and like I was about to black out. Started burning fat then muscle Aug. 2012. Now down to just tissue over bone everywhere - about 90% or more muscle burned. Also feels like water soluble material from abdominal cavity. Weight 287 when this first began, scale says 200 but have weighed a real 200 about 12 years ago and not this bad - probably more like 100 and I am 6 feet tall. CT is negative and gastroenterologist at Mayo decided to run PET/CT as liquid has to be coming from somewhere however that scan was also negative. Everything other than the scan results is consistent with gastric rupture from what I have read (severe abdominal pain, elevated white count, much lower than normal body temp at 96.5 when this first occurred, metabolism for a period of time then nothing). Without official diagnosis I can't get any help here and am rapidly running out of time I think with the amount of muscle I have burned through. It has been put off as dietary - eating the same thing in same amounts as always. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Ooze is internal, not external - more like undigested food. Sorry for the confusion

Hi!
I am not sure where the discharge is coming from—anus or umbilicus?
Discharge from the umbilicus or navel or belly button could be due to fistula, boil, or infection. Umbilical fistulas are narrow tubes connecting the outer skin with anything inside like intestine, mesentry etc. This can be diagnosed by injecting dye in the belly button and taking an X-ray.
Boils in the umbilicus can also burst and release blood and pus.  In rare cases it could be Meckel’s diverticulum (persisting small intestine bulge into the umbilicus present since birth).  Do consult your doctor. A swab test of the sticky discharge should be done and culture and sensitivity tested to start appropriate treatment. Diabetes should be tested for as this may cause infection to linger. It can also cause weight loss/weight gain.
If the mucus like discharge is from anus and you are losing weight, have abdominal pain and high WBC, then it can be inflammatory bowel conditions such as IBS, Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis.
A comprehensive investigation is required keeping all the points in mind. Please consult your doctor regarding this. Take care!

I sincerely hope you will find this information useful in your journey towards better health.

Hope you get well soon! Good Luck and take care!
