Mother sick, Doctors have no idea, Any ideas?

My mom has been sick for the past 11 days and is currently in the hospital. She shows no signs of getting any better. She is 66 yrs old and has dizziness, nausea, vomiting & low fever, blurred vision, supposedly due to 3rd nerve palsy and is now so weak she can no longer stand or walk on her own. She has seen ear, eye, nose & throat doc, neurologists, gastroenterologists and no one has any idea what wrong with her. Procedures done were MRI, CAT Scan of head and abdomen, GI Scope(colonoscopy?), bloodwork and brainstem test. Even with some of the chemotheray drugs they have put her on, she still vomits constantly all day even though she is unable to eat at all. Docs have not found cancer or anything else. Anyone have any ideas what could be wrong?

Can they test for bacterias, fungi, and most importantly parasites? Is she better?

What the heck? Ask the doctor to see if they checked her for heavy metal poisoning. The symptoms are similar.

I agree with BradCHF.  You can be tested for heavy metals with a simple hair analysis.  If doctors don't do it, consult with a naturopath.

Ask about the possibility of gastroparesis; it is delayed stomach emptying. If she is dehydrated, that can cause a low fever. Meds and lack of nutrition will also cause dizziness. I take it they have done a neurological workup?
