Thank you so much . I Will be sure to look into it
Hi!
It is very difficult to give a precise diagnosis on net. Your symptoms could be due to a number of disorders.
You could be suffering from an inflammatory bowel condition such as Celiac Disease/Ulcerative Colitis/Irritable Bowel Syndrome/ Crohn’s disease. Other than that it could be due to H pylori infection of the stomach with acid reflux. It can also be food intolerance. Diabetes can cause slowing of gut and can cause bloating and hence get your blood sugar tested.
It can also be due to excess consumption of food rich in sulfites like juices, molasses, yellow dye in ready made food stuffs, and red wine. Sulfites are present in lesser amounts in mashed potatoes made from dry powder, pickles, tinned shrimp, cookies, crackers, and readymade pie dough. Constipation can also cause bloating. Very sedentary lifestyle is another cause.
Cancers of the gut (intestines, stomach, colon, rectum) and in female ovarian cancer too could be a cause. I know this sounds scary, but this is the last cause to worry about.
You could also be having polycystic disease of the ovary. If you are in premenopausal age group, then this is a time of hormonal changes in the body. This can decrease the movement of bowel and cause constipation and gas. This could be the cause of bloatedness. Please consult a gynecologist regarding this. Some women benefit by hormone replacement therapy.
Increase the fiber in the diet and start a regular exercise regimen like walking. This may help relieve the symptoms. Take a probiotic, avoid above mentioned food items, and take an antacid gel and see if it helps. Please consult your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral to the concerned specialist.
I sincerely hope you will find this information useful in your journey towards better health.
Hope you get well soon! Good Luck and take care!
