Dog is Acting weird.

My 4y old Shep Mix threw up once 2 days ago. Then Yesterday poped out a paper towel. Today she was jumping around but has not eatten in 2 day. We think she got into m husband`s homemade cheese. As today she is trying to have a bowel movement but cant. She is not a very "bouncy" dog to say she sleep alot normally but always next to me with her head on my leg or foot. But she hasnt in two days. She also Shakes alot in the past 2 days. Can anyone help with ideas fo home remedies as all my pets are on natural healing with the approvel of their vet.

Hello and welcome.....I don't think any home remedies will help at this point.....IMO, you could have an emergency on your hands....From everything you have described, it sounds has if she has a blockage.....If she will eat a paper towel, then there are multitudes of other possible ingested materials that she will consume....

The Vomiting, not eating & now not able to poop are clear signs of a blockage somewhere.....The shaking is definitely a sign of PAIN......

If this has gone on for three days, you may be running out of time.....You need to seek treatment ASAP...Tonight would be best!

I know the shaking has calmed down Yesterday it was every other out till the paper towel came out...today it has onl been twice.

I COMPLETELY agree with Karla, at this point you have an emergency on your hands.  The fact that she passed a paper towel and now cannot defecate at all, coupled with the fact that she is shaking, tells me that she is in pain and that in all likelihood she has a blockage and needs surgical intervention.

PLEASE DO NOT WAIT to get her to a vet, take her to the emergency vet TONIGHT because this has already gone on for more than two days and could be fatal if you don't help her SOON.  Please post back and let us know what the vet says.

took her to the vet he just gave me a pill and told me to feed her fiber one because  small part of the bone she ate is just above her colen he isnt to worried yet but the pills have poped all the air bubbles so she is drinking and eatting now just have to watch for her to go to the bathoom and she will be good.

Thanks so much for the update!  I'm very relieved to hear that she is eating and drinking again.  I hope that bone works its way out without further incident.  Please let us know when she's back to normal!
