side affectes of medication
My dog Cooper was having seizures. A Boston terrier. We put him on phenobartibal. Has been on this medication for only 2 days. The first day he was pretty relaxed. He is a very highly motivated dog. He is only 3 years old. Spunky little thing. Now on 2nd day on his meds. He is spunky as usual, however now he want's to eat more. Per is size 20lbs. we only feed him 1 and a half cups of food per day. Now my question is: he seams to want to eat more in a day. Is this a normal side affect? What do I do? Feed him more as he want's?
Common side affect of this medication. Do Not feed more or your dog will get overweight and that will be another issue. Continue feeding as before!
Check with your vet as to what else you can give to help reduce the demands they make for more food!
