Missed some of the Agenda Train....

Please accept my apologies for not responding back to the original Agenda post.
So many of you posted and had so much info......

I have been very ill for the last several days. In hospital to hydrate, CT Scan, Blood work, IV Antibiotics....you know how it goes...blah, blah.....actually that is how I feel :(

Better days are coming though for all of us just as one of you had posted last week (or was that the week before?). I am sooooo ready for them too as I know all of us are.  I am doing somewhat better except for the SEVERE Fatigue!  Have to admit, it scares me sometimes how a person could sleep so much, miss meds, meals, and keeping hydrated (so important). This is just Not good!  Perhaps an MS Exacerbation or something from the AD or both??

Do not know what to think or say about it except to remind myself that there is light at the end of the tunnel!
Again, I apologize for not responding. I think of all of you all the time and am always concerned and interested in what is going on in everyones life.

Have a Great Sunday...

I'll see if I can find it again. I don't know if I saved that info. My son feels worse even at mild elevations. Good thing we are only about 240 ft. above sea level where we live. Although, if we lived at a high elevation, maybe he could come down to the sea and would feel better!

Hi Enzy,

can you tell me where this research was done? I think I always feel better near the sea.... confusing, eh?

Actually, I think there has been research on autonomic nervous system activity in low barometric pressure and high altitude conditions. Sympathetic nervous system activity significantly increased in the low barometric pressure, and was suspected to be the cause of poor peripheral circulation, leading to hypothermia and frostbite.

I have read that temperature extremes, both high and low, plus high humidity has been implicated in triggering migraines.

Tonya- I think utis were probably ms related but I.feel the uti caused AD to act up worse and it was at the point Dr sent me to ep due to syncope etc. Never really recovered back to where  I was after that. Have felt like crap since and keep wondering if I will have a day I.don't. It's been almost a yr and a half so am thinking this is as good as it gets.:(
My husband has always noticed when there is a change in barometer I get worse or.have new symptoms. Wonder if there's any research on that?

   Your so sweet :)

Thank you also for the kind words. Always nice to know when people truly understand how you feel.

So are you saying that your AD was giving way to the UTI's?  Don't mean to sound dense...Lol

You know..I tend to agree w/ both you and Enzy on the wheather stuff....Just what all of us need right..something else to set us off...

Take Care,

Tonya- so sorry u have been so sick. I have been missing u. Hope ur on the uphill swing. About 2 yrs ago I went thru the uti thing over and over. Was so sick and that when they finally diagnosed the AD as it was out of control and Dr couldnt deny there was something very wrong. So yes I think sickness causes AD and MS to act up.
I understand the fatigue its so bad. My problem is often I am totally exhausted to the point of not being able to lift my arms etc but can't sleep so in some ways envy u that ur able to.:)
U keep on resting, hydrating and eating some.good nourishing food and get well. We need u here.:)
I think Enzy may have a.point on the barometer affecting us. My husband always points that out when my symptoms act up and I tell him he's goofy but actually think he's onto something.

Thanks for the kind words :)  well I guess I have a Flaccid Bladded (from MS?) and MS folks get UTI's sometimes more than others. then they thought it was a Kidney Stone......Not, Yaaaa!  Lol

So now on Oral Anti-biotics and to see another urologists.  Have you found or has anyone noticed that when you are ill your AD acts up more?  Mine is roller coastering.
Hey is that even a word???  If not we can just add it to our private AD dictionary....

Hugs,
~Tonya

I'm sorry to hear you've been so sick. Do you think the weather had anything to do with it? I know some people are very sensitive to barometric pressure. I'm glad you were able to get some treatment and testing. I too, sleep a lot when I'm ill. It's like I just want to sleep until I'm completely well again.

You are right, this to shall pass. I hope this next week you feel great!

You have a great Sunday too!
