midodrine side effects

Hi

Did anyone find there symptoms got way worse on this drug??? I have experienced weird head pressure, odd sensations, and shortness of breath....is that normal???

It really helps me. The side effects can be wicked but better if I take it with food. I couldn't function without it.

I take it. It helps me alot but everyone's body is different call your cardiologist or doctor. Read side efects and when to discontinue use.

My son's doctor told us to only give him midodrine if he was going to be upright for 4 hours.  The one time he took it and then laid down, he had chest pains that scared him.  So, if he takes it, he stays upright or at least reclined in a chair, but not laying flat.
