2 days post op Septoplasty/Turbinate Reduction/Excision Concha Bullosa/Ethmoidectomy

This is horrible....I didn not realize post op would be this hard.  It isn't so much as the pain as it is not being able to breathe out of my hose.  When does this get better? I was told not to blow my nose so I am not.   But I cannot taste or smell.  When does this get better?   It does me no good to take the pain meds, because they make me sleepy and I cannot sleep more than an hour or 2 at a time.  This is tough and rough.  Please someone come along and offer me some hope/help to make this recovery process better.
