CHRONIC SINUSITIS, CAN THIS BE SERIOUS? 3 MEDS. NOT WORKING!

LAST JUNE I HAD DONE COCAINE FOR THE FIRST TIME, THAT NIGHT I HAD A VERY BAD NIGHT. I HAD FOR THE NEXT TWO WEEKS DIZZINESS, STOMACHE ACHES AND HEADACHES. I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL 2 TIMES AND TOLD THEM ABOUT THIS. THEY DID CAT SCANS AND FOUND NOTHING AND SENT ME ON MY WAY WITH A SLAP ON THE WRIST AND A PAT ON THE BACK. STILL IT WASN'T IMPROVING, FINALLY I WENT TO MY FAMILY DOCTOR AND DID NOT TELL HIM WHAT I HAD DONE. HE GAVE ME "C-CLOR" AND VALIUM AND EVERYTHING IMPROVED. WELL SINCE AROUND THANKSGIVING IT HAS RETURNED AND I HAVE BEEN ON 3 DIFFERENT TYPES OF BACTERIAL MEDICATIONS, EVERYTHING, INCLUDING AUGMENTIN. NOTHING HAS IMPROVED. I HAVE ALSO HAD NASAL SPRAY. I HAVE HAD A CAT SCAN WHERE THEY DIAGNOSTED IT AS 'CHRONIC SINUSITIS'. *MY QUESTION IS COULD THE COCAINE HAVE CAUSE THIS, IS IT CURABLE, CAN IT LEAD TO ANYTHING SERIOUS.* MOST IMFORMATION I HAVE COME ACROSS DEALS WITH PROLONGED USE OF THE DRUG, NOT A ONE TIME THING. I AM 20 AND I REALLY AM SCARED THAT I AM GOING TO HAVE TO LIVE WITH THIS LOW QUALITY OF LIFE FOREVER. PLEASE GIVE ME ANY HELP THAT YOU CAN. THANKS SO MUCH, BRITTANY.

Brittany_s, I feel your pain.  Two weeks ago I had done cocaine for the second time in 2 years.  I have pain that comes and goes right above my nose and constant ringing in the ear.  Quality of life had reduced dramatically.

I'm wondering if you have found a cure yet for your problem?

Short term use, I wouldn't think would create a profound difference but it is an exceptionally good thing you've stopped! For MANY reasons!

Did they rule out a fungal infection? Have you tried nasal irrigation? Hormonal upsets?
