Dental implants causing fluid in ear?

Since having my dental implants exposed and the metal post attached I have suffered fluid in ear, and also pain in left ear. The crowns are not yet attached but this is imminent. My dentist denies any involvment with the implants with my ear problems. Could they have damaged my eustacheon tubes? The upper jaw ones seems very well pushed in, especially when he screwed the attachments onto the pins. Also, could I have an allergy to the metal attachments? i dont know what they are made of.
Thank you, Julia
