Ear Clicking

Hello,
I’m experiencing a clicking in my left ear.  It is constant but random.  It’s not load and sounds like a spark of electricity or snapping of popcorn.  A physician cleaned out the ear wax and after examination found no infection.  What can I do since it’s persisted now for about ten days straight?
