Fluid mastiod bone

Had MRI found fluid in mastiod bone , there is swelling I don't have any ear infection but I do have bad headaches, my hearing is dropping and ringing in ears
My head sometimes gets very hot and sweat at night , bloods at gp came back ok .
2 months ago I did have an infected wisdom tooth and chest infection that antibiotics cleared up , chest and sinus problems seem to be back again ( sinus on MRI appeared clear)
I have pain in my arms feel weak and unwell
I feel this all started after I had arthoscopy for my tmj as I have arthritis in those joints,
Can anybody shine a light on this for me
Thank you

Hi, do you have pain over the mastoid bone? usually with an infection you must have pain and swelling. Commonest cause for mastoiditis is middle ear infection. Check with your doctor to rule out this. It could also be a cyst in the mastoid bone. If you do not have any symptoms now, you may need to follow up with your doctor to monitor the lesion. Regards.
