My nose still gets very cold very easily. It could be Raynaud's Phenomenon!

Hello and hope you are doing well.

You have to prescribed dose of thyroxin until the next assessment. Please do not venture to modulate the dosage based on your symptoms.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

Thank you. How quickly can I fluctuate between the two? By time the results are told to me,they may be totally different.
My level was fine, but the doc upped my prescription because I still have so many symptoms. Now I wonder if that is bad! I also read so much about the meds being bad on bones and wonder if it should be as low as possible.
I have a friend who was told by her doc to only take the med when she has symptoms!
Thank you again!

Hello and hope you are doing well.

Cold intolerance is usually a feature of hypothyroidism. The cold nose could be due to this. The thyroid status can fluctuate from hyper to hypothyroidism; you could repeat your thyroid profile to know the current status of your thyroid gland. You have to ensure to take your medications regularly and you have to monitor the levels of your thyroid status at least once in three months.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
