Persistant Itchy, scratchy and raw throat

I have a Ridiculous Throat problem that no doctor can figure out, My throat feels raw and dry most of the time, itchy and scartchy but my biggest concern is that certain foods like salty, spicy, and caffeine or carbonated drinks make it worse, I avoid these foods and drinks but the problem does not go away, this also gives me breathing problems. Can sumone relate to these problems?

i used to have itchy throat only if i had a viral ... sometimes heating also causes this so a humidifier might help.. a cold water might b of some relief... also drink lots of fluid... n gud luck...:)
