Phlegm Constricted In Throat

I had my check up yesterday with my ENT doctor. And he told me to undergo on barrow swallow procedure. And the results were negative.I had this feeling of breathing so hard that i could almost faint in tears. I also had this feeling of there's something in my throat, just like a golf ball that i could hardly swallow any solid foods without the help of water or anything liquid. I'm beginning to feel so paranoid, i even thought of someone invisible is choking me. My saliva are so sticky. What could be th problem? Help

Thank you so much for the response.... I'll try to do that... avoiding spicy and caffeinated foods... I'm so addicted to coffee... I'm also a drinker and a smoker for the past 2 years of my life... but now i quit on both. Many thanks ... god bless,,,

It sounds like acid reflux, which your ENT was probably looking for damage from the the barium swallow procedure (if that is what you meant).  You might try some acid reflux meds and/or raising your bed 6 inches, avoiding spicy and caffeinated foods and not eating within 4 hours of going to bed.

I hope you do get some solid answers.
