Please help Ear ringing with high pitch noise

Hi Everyone,

Please help me with this ear problem. Last week I used a q-tip to clean out ear wax and I thought I did it carefully but I started to get noises in my ears and it hurt a lot, I went to the doctor and he said it was an ear infection. He gave me ear drops and antibotics. Now my ear does not hurt and feels almost back to normal but I am still getting high pitch noises in my ear. I am really scared and could use some knowledge, I am going to my family doctor next week to see what he says. Will the ringing go away and if not what can I do? Thank You.

Try soaking in warm water and try sleeping without a pillow taking less pressure from neck and ears. Good luck.

do note that this is only possible if you have had one put in.

ok maybe just perhaps maybe its a very rare thing to happen you might need a new gromit it takes like a full year to be sure you do a test which includes you listening to a tape with very small sounds and you tell them when you hear it if you do like 10 mistakes then they will put you on the gromits list losing a gromit is very very painfull at first you it can happen very random its almostlike a big bang and all of a sudden pain hits and you cant sleep for a couple of days and then when you think your better the pain stops but the ringing noise stays and will stay for the rest of your life slowly making you def if not fixed.
