Severe pain behind base of tongue
What could be causing my pain?  I have constant pain on the right side of my throat behind my tongue.  Sometimes my tongue feels funny back there.  When I swallow, it hurts, I can feel my food go down (very sensitive)  It feels like an open wound or boil back there.  It stings as well.  I have had this for 3 months!  I have had every test (barium swallow, MRI on throat, chest xray, scope down to my tummy, all normal.  This pain is very severe  I have had to miss work alot and I have no social life because the pain consumes me  I need feedback.   thanks
