Something between Ringing and Hissing in Ears

Hello.

About a month ago I started to hear what could be described as something between ringing and hissing in my ears.  It is constant with only slight changes in degrees of intensitiy.  No pain.  No head trauma.  No illness (that I'm aware of).

I'm a 59 year old male in reasonably good health.

Hoping this isn't something I have to live with.  Any advice would be appreciated.

Tinnitus (hissing/ringing) is most commonly due to hearing loss...which could be from wax, loud noise exposures, aging, etc.  You'll need an exam and an audiogram.
