Throat pain, saliva, worse at night
My mom had dry cough (over a week) and now pain in her throat. Doctor gave her antibiotics (Klavax Bid - amoxicilin / clavulanic acid), even though she didn't see any red throat when she examined her. It was a little better after first couple of pills but the pain still persists. Now, only right side of her throat is a bit painful.
(Actually, that's not throat, since it's in the right side.... right under the jaw

Other symptoms are: saliva, cough, and seems that secretes from the nose get down her throat.

During day it's calm but it gets worse at night and she has trouble sleeping.
We have just installed central heating in our house, so maybe it's connected to dry air... But I don't know.
Anybody knows what could it be?
