Weird Tip of Adam's Apple popping problem

I have a strange Adam's Apple popping problem. It's not that painful at all just annoying. Every now and then randomly it comes back for a few days then leaves for a while. The very tip of my Adam's Apple gets stuck when I move my head left and right. I can even see it move back and forth in the mirror when I turn my head back and forth. When I put my thumb on it, it feels like a little bone or muscle that's out of place. Anyone experience this? Or, know what this is?
