attached nasal mucosa

my husband got his nasal surgery done for fleshy growth in  his nose but after  six months symptoms were still there ...i just checked his nostrils with light n could see that there is not a single passage of the nostril....the apposing nasal mucosa is attaced at a point where nasal cartilage starts...n so there are two smal air passages.........due to this he is always complaining of headache and irritation in his nose n abve all difficulty in breathing....please help.....thanks
