Thank you, I will try anything even if it means to cut back on dairy product (which I love)
Thank you for your advice, I will try it. Right now I will try anything. I think I know what neti pots are, the sinus flush brand that I am using it makes those to.
Where do you find a neti pot? and how does one use it ? how long before your daughter had results?
One of the guys who tried my Flip-Turn Sinus Flush (put cursor on blue "friggy", go to journal for instructions) told me it took 2 weeks, but he got rid of The Smell. He'd had the infection analyzed, and said it was an anaerobic bacteria, which I didn't expect, because it's in the air passages. I would've guessed a mold or fungus. My guess came from the first time I'd smelled that awful smell--when I set up a tent at Chaco Canyon that had been stored airtight for years, and I thought a dog had snuck in and done its bidness. I slept in the car that night, and years later, when I got the same smell in my nose, I was hoping no one else could smell it. It took me 5 days to get it out.
At any rate, it's a tenacious microbe in the upper reaches of your sinuses, and a neti pot may reach it, and the Flip Turn Flush more likely will, but you'll have to be persistent. If it doesn't work, go back to your ENT, as you will at least have it narrowed down to non-sinusitis. In the meantime, until you get rid of it, cut back on dairy stuff and white flour products--they dramatically thicken mucus.
Good luck
What kind of sinus flush are you using?
A neti pot works really well for my daughter. She has TERRIBLE bad breath and it clears it up fast.
