bridge of nose sore, no reason

I am just like the rest of you.12/10/07  I woke up 2 days ago and felt like I was punched in the nose (I wasn't)
bridge of nose and sides ( left moreso than right ) is sore to the touch, slightly red and a little swollen. I live in Northwest Indiana.

So I came on to this forum and could relate to the "feels like I was punched in the nose and have reddness on bridge" I went to my PCP and she thinks it's celluitus and RX me cephallexin.  I was told to do warm compresses and to take OTC pain meds.  My bridge of Nose was warm and painful to touch.  I really suggest people going to the doctors. I told her about this forum so bring it up.  I'm glad I came across this because I would of probually waited. It's only been a few hours but the pain has definitely gone down.

i see you saw the other post complaining of these symptoms.

if it gets worse, see your doctor.

viral infections usually slowly improve.
