in the morning its like all the snot is in my head and its quite uncomfortable until i blow my nose
its like 11am now and im still stuffy but im really trying to hold back from using nasal spray which is called otrivine (decongestant) as i dont think they are good everyday although this one works - for up to ten hours - only one spray in each nostril  - very good
im going to see a specialist i think if the antibiotics dont work - i only got a weeks worth  - 2 a day 250 mg  - do you know if this is good dose???

hi,clarithromycin is fine for sinusitis as well as for upper respiratory infections. What you need is steam inhalation, antihistaminics along with antibiotic.
Usually, viral infections precipitate the attack which gets complicated by superimposed bacterial infection. It has allergic cause too.
