It's always best with an infant to check with their pediatrician as to what you may possibly give her over the counter or if he/she wants to see the baby. PLEASE NEVER give any medications to your baby that haven't been prescribed by and instructed to do by her pediatrician - even if she has the same symptoms another time, don't give her any medication that was used previously, as not all illnesses are alike and even though some symptoms may be the same, it still could be something completely different.
