First things first , get an audiometry (to test hearing) and tympanometry (to know the ear pressure) done.Your symptoms and write up suggest that you have nasal allergy which could lead to sinusitis and secondary to it blocked eustachian tubes which could cause the problems that you complain off.Let me be the first to wish you "happy holidays" on this forum and hope we can get those ears "ring" a happy note instead!
Oh where do l start, l have been to audiologist and ear pressure was fine, had ct scan of sinuses all of which are very blocked, been to ent specialist who said l have small polyps but thinks my problem is my jaw, went to dentist who did opg and said jaw and teeth are fine, l do suffer with strange food allergies to raw carrots, celery and kiwi fruit l also get asthma which has got worse as l've got older and l do suffer with candida at times, am thinking maybe this is part of the problem, l also have fluid behind my left ear drum......
l was out in the cold air today and am having bad symtoms tonight :( have put a warm wheat bag behind my neck which has helped with the head pain a little and took an antihistamine which has done nothing .........:(
God seems to have troubled you with quite a few to handle.Sorry for that. But what falls prominently in my eye,is that you have blocked sinuses which should be treated medically or surgically (using a technique called FESS).Your fluid in the ear (though I don't understand how can the pressure be normal if there was fluid in the ear.. doesn't happen that way) would require a myringotomy and grommet insertion to relieve the symptoms if they are not responding to medications. Both of these should help you to get the symptoms under control and you should undergo MRI brain to rule out any space occupying lesions in the internal auditory canal. You can always use tinnitus maskers if available.Tinnitus or ringing ears are a troublesome problem and have little concrete solution to be very frank.
